Yep, we went to the zoo for Memorial Day. It was so fun. Here is a recap:

This is my favorite imitation that Lj does of Sara when she doesn’t want to have her picture taken! I love it!

“Oh ice cream, I love you”

Great faces…

(What do you think? Should I highlight my hair???).

Spacing Out

Sara and I made cupcakes. She was so big, she decorated all of these by herself…frosting, powdered sugar and all. It was so much fun. Eating them was still our favorite part though ![]()

Allie enjoyed hanging out, as she always does…

Then, the girls played together. Cupcakes+family=perfection.

Then, as usual, I got carried away with the camera ![]()

April also brought a trip to our Cousin’s house. Sara was in Cousin Heaven as they all played and played and played and played and played and played and played and played.

I had to add this picture. Their dog loves to play in the bounce house with the balls…that is static electricity, baby!

In April, Lj turned 30…and the white horse cake his mom always makes, was a black one this year. The coconut was white, but black stallion underneath, all the way.
The green patch in the corner is a hill…

Love ya hon, even though you’re “over the hill, too hold to count!”
Grandma’s house presented a lot of good places for Easter eggs to hide. Sorry Allie, no pics of you..you were sleeping.

Grandma in the Garden

Poor Sara got her finger locked in the door on the way to swimming. It was so sad. She had a war wound to show us all though.

It’s all better now, luckily.
As soon as the sun started coming out, we headed outside. Sara wanted to go straight for the pool…and then realized it was still cold.

Allie, when she wasn’t mobile

March brought a Kyser wedding and a trip to Vancouver’s Aquarium:

Needless to say, the weather made for interesting picture-taking and great memories!

The Aquarium…
Sara DID have fun, but had just awakened from a nap ![]()

Glad this guy was behind glass!

Sara fell asleep one night with her toys by her side and the light on. This is how she had organized her toys.

This goes back to February again. This is when Allie began sitting up.
