I LLLLLLLLLLLLLLove this one… Fall time: a great time to live in Seattle.

That’s enough, right? I can’t decide! Which one to use…. in the words of Winnie the Pooh, “think, think, think.”
I decided to make a first and do Sara’s birthday pictures, actually close to her birthday. So, this year, I’m a little early. She turns 3 on November 11th. This is part 1. More to come. Which is your favorite?

Lj took us all to see his office! These are all from downtown.

The new job!!!

The view. Not bad, huh? At Rainier Square.

Free Beverages from the Break Room. Sara drank the whole orange juice,

…and wouldn’t use th potty at the library 30 minutes later!

Sara is getting to look so old!

Our precious little Allie. She is such a little sweetheart. A GREAT baby. And she has discovered her hands. They are her best friend and plays with them all day long.

Sara doing puzzles at the Seattle Public Library. A very cool place.

And who said ducks can’t read???

I had to post this tonight…insanely late for me to be up doing this, seeing I won’t be sleeping in…but I just developed this picture…I love taking pictures because of ones like this:

Well, we’re 2 weeks into this thing, and so far so good. Actually, it’s going a lot better than I imagined. Sara’s tantrums are mainly when she is sleep deprived or off of her schedule. She mainly just wants to have attention too and to help. She is a very good big sister, always wanting to hug and kiss Allie. The best part is when she tells us what Allie wants. Like today, she told Lj and I in the car that she wants her binki, or at home she told us to let her just sleep when we went to hold her and when Lj was burping Allie tonight and Allie was crying from it all, Sara told “dabby” that she must want mommy. It is quite adorable.

Allie is sleeping quite well. She’ll give me a 4 hour stretch in there during the night usually and Sara sleeps at least until 7, sometimes 8:30…and those days are glorious. Allie sleeps so much during the day, that I can really get time in with Sara or other things done. But then there is the down side that Sara does best when I can get her out of the house (preferrably once a day) to go do something…not good when we’re all cooped up for the day. Anyway, all is well so far. I think my sanity and nerves are saved at this point because Lj is working at home and has been very gracious with his time so far. At least to have his help if a crises arises is enough to save the day. Hurray for flexible schedules!
I was looking through some older pictures of Sara, and this isn’t an offcial 2 yr old picture, but look at how much older she looks this year!!! I can’t believe it!

My girlfriend’s daughter: SO CUTE!

What a great day! Yosemite was so beautiful. We woke up Sunday and just decided to go. I love being spontaneous!
The highlights were the large rock cliffs, the Ansil Adams Gallery, the 400mm Canon f/2.8 L that they had set up outside the Gallery (along with other equipment you could rent) so you could take a REALLY close look at the Yosemite Falls, and the falls. Sara was A TROOPER! She really did so well. We got there right as her naptime was aproaching and she didn’t take a nap for 5 hours later.Â
This is Sara in the drive there.

This was the first viewpoint that we reached just outside of Yosemite Valley.

Just don’t slide off the top of this cliff…nasty fall

Daddy and Sara (sara insists on taking off her shoes to get ANYTHING that might have entered, including dust :))

Momma getting it out

Isn’t this beautiful?

This is the tunnel that ends right at this lookout. I DARE you to try to hold your breath. Lj and I thought we could totally do it. Do you see the where the tunnel starts on the other side? Ya, let’s just say it’s a really long tunnel.

The village store had the crocs, and Sara was in HEAVEN! She took down so many to want to try on

On the way up to the falls, we stopped along the creek and we all threw some rocks. Opa would be proud
