We got the little walker out yesterday… she didn’t like it last night, but seemed ok in it for a while tonight. Sara even got into pushing her around the living room/kitchen.

It was so cool! Lj and Mendy ran the Seattle Half Marathon! Poor Lonnie got sick :*( Hopefully he can run next time. There were 15,000 people running the race and they did such a good job! I have been told that Seattle’s Marathon is hard because of the quantity of hills. Mendy and Lj said the hills were only the last 4ish miles. It was so thrilling to see them run into the stadium!
This is where the finish line is…it’s the big white tent-like area in the picture.

It was a very foggy morning. Most of the morning, I couldn’t even see the Space Needle

I am biased as her mom, but I think she is just the sweetest little baby!

We had a great, relaxing, Thanksgiving day! Here is Allie sporting her “Baby’s 1st Thanksgiving” shirt.

Sara picked out funfetti cake and frosting as her choice. I don’t understand why she didn’t want the german chocolate which I was pushing for.

Amd for the 1st time EVER, Sara was too shy to blow out the candles!

The Girls

Sara feeding Allie

Halloween went on for about a week in our house since the church trunk-or-treat was nearly a week before Halloween Day. So, we made cookies:

We didn’t carve Allie’s pumpkin until the next night. She fell asleep during all of the action!

The BIG DAY

My birthday was soooo much fun this year. Thanks to my sweet in-laws for watching Sara so we could get away for a night in the city.
Nice spit Allie ![]()

The Girls

Allie is making life quite enjoyable right now. She literally is a dream baby at this point. She rarely cries, she falls asleep on her own. She does wake normally during the night to eat, but goes right back to sleep. Allie is content watching her sister and mommy play and talk. Allie reaches for toys and tries to pull them close to her mouth to suck on them. She does tummy time for a short while but would prefer not. Allie loves to lay under this toy that has toys hanging over her while she’s laying on her back and will play with them for at least an hour at a time. She LOVES to take breaks while eating to stop and look up at me and smile, then she’ll go back to eating…does this at least 5 times every feeding. And she takes roughly 3 naps a day. She looks like her sister, but has lighter hair at this point in time. She cries if you startle her and has on occasion cried when seen a grandpa or uncle rather than a grandma or aunt (not to discriminate). Now, I must knock on wood because NEARLY EVERY TIME I’ve gone to say something good about my children, it backfires and they are rotten. Cross your fingers!
In primary, the kids were challenged to think of one thing everyday this month, that they were thankful for. I asked Sara what she was thankful for today. I asked if she was thankful for her family, or her house and she replied, “Heavenly Father.” There’s not many other things that could come out of her mouth, that would make me feel quite as proud.
