Thought it’d be fun to see what the sisters look like at the same ages.

We love playing at the park

Sara loves what “Dabby” teaches her

Allie’s 1st time on the swings!!! She liked it, not that you see it much in this picture!

And the ducks. One of the highlights!

Do you think they like being fed?

Proud to wish my mom a happy 35th birthday!
We all enjoyed celebrating.

Always, I repeat, always check your equipment before you start shooting.Â
I WAS going to post some pictures of our new friends at the park this morning (which I did take) but there was no card in the camera. Must learn my lesson the hard way.
Well, this seems to have been a very eventful week. Sara has really done a lot this week, and Lj and I are pooped! The Doc’s visit went well. Sara is developing perfectly normal. She is in the 90% for height and 80% for weight and her head is in the 75%. Numbers are slightly down from her 4 month appointment. Maybe she’ll continue to slow down growing so fast. Sara has:
1)learned to get on her hands and knees and rock back and forward.
2)say “ba ba ba ba” which is so cute because she can’t do it without frowing, but yet she’s so happy when she does it.
3)had her first solids! She loved them! Rice cereal was all we did. But she was so excited. It was if she were to say, “it’s about time I get what the big people eat.” Lj and I just can’t break it to her that we don’t eat rice cereal. I haven’t mentioned her love for bottles. Big peoples’ water bottles. She can spot them from a crowd of toys.
4)officially sits by herself. It’s great because she’ll sit and play so nicely by herself with a toy sitting in her lap. She doesn’t even cry when she topples over, which rarely happens.
Sara continues to talk (babble) a lot and is one happy baby in general.
I’m hoping she starts to sleep longer, especially with solids.
Lj and I were able to get out and go see MI:3. It was so intense which was great because I would’ve fallen asleep otherwise. We’ve just been going from one place to another. Church tomorrow, and I bet we stay home for the rest of the day.
Well, it’s officialy: we have the cutest baby ever.
From one proud parent.
Well, I must give credit where it is due. In no particular order:
To Lj: Thank you for the amazing Mother’s Day Gift. It is the best gift ever. Truly from the heart and so creative and beautiful! I will remember it forever. I don’t know how I got so lucky to have you for eternity. It was definitely guidance from above that led us to eachother.
To My Mom, Sharon: you are an example to me everyday. I appreciate your sacrifices more than I ever tell you and I’m sorry I don’t tell you more often. I will always look up to you, for you are a great mother. The best.
To My Step Mom, Kathy: I appreciate your love and support to me, my dad and the family.
I learn so much from your quiet example which has been a big influence in my life. You are a main reason this family is a Remarkable Family.
To My Mother in Law, Mendy: I thank you for raising such a noble and righteous son who is so good to me. I am so blessed to have your influence in my life and my children’s. You are so kind and giving and a hoot to boot!
To My Sisters, Chelsea, Jennifer, Shayla and Heather (in laws count too!): You are so fun and great moms. Your children are so blessed to have you as their mom and I am so lucky to have your motherly examples right in front of me for I really look to you for your guidance in how you raise your children.
Well, so Sara is here…and has been here for quite some time. Almost 3 months! I’m going to blame the lack of writing and keeping our site up to date on my memory loss. I can’ t remember to write and I can’t remember my password to even get in to write here! Excuses, excuses.
Sara is here. She was born November 11th, 2005 at 5:19pm, weighing in at 9lb, 21 inches long. She is just the most wonderful child; perfect in everyway. Here are some pictures of her.
Lj and I are working on a site-overhaul with a picture gallery. Hopefully that will make viewing pictures a bit more fun! For now, here is a sneak peak of what our “little love bug” is up to! She is growing so fast. At her 2 month appointment, she weighed 12lb 13 3/4 ounces and was 24 inches long. Here she is!

She started smiling at about 3 weeks which of course makes our hearts melt. She started interacting and playing with toys 2 weeks ago. She is so cute as she tries SO hard to control her hands to reach for things. To this day, Sara hates “tummy time.”
