So sad, I think this is one of 3 pictures now of the two in the same picture. But Sara is slowly understanding that they could be friends.

Christmas came, and it was a great Christmas. It was so nice to have us all together as a family. Lj had time off from work and school and it was great to slow down a bit. With the snow, it made for some lazy, snowed-in days.

(Lonnie, where are you???)

And my personal favorite, Lj after the festivities, Lj in a nutshell: tuckered out from a hard-day’s work, listening to music, computer by his side (note the candy wrappers and stocking in the background):

My mom and I had the BEST time baking this year. It was fun and everything was soooo good! Sara enjoyed licking all of the spoons and bowls.
If anyone wants to give ideas for next year’s baking event, please do!
As everyone already knows, we had a fare amount of snow this December, and we had tons of fun in it. Here are some of our moments with the snow.

Allie all bundled up on our way out to play (looking a little tired if you ask me!)

This is my favorite picture of all. I will forever remember this house, for many reasons, but this one in particular. When it snowed, it looked and felt like we were staying in a cabin high in the mountains. The snow deadened any minimal noise we’d normally hear, and the backyard looked like we were up in the mountains somewhere. I LOVED how it was.

Yep, Lj “does” computers, and Allie is learning. Or, just hanging out.

Allie got Baby Legs early for Christmas…and she sported them nicely… I don’t know what sound a giraffe makes, but if I did, I’d tell you to imagine that sound when seeing the leggings.

We took so many pictures during the holidays, it was so hectic for me, that I’m just finally getting to organizing them! So, starting with the beginning of December, we did ginger bread houses with the Conrads (we miss you!).
Here is Sara doing hers.
I was amazed. Sara knew just what to do when it came to decorating. No explanations like, “don’t eat the candy until you get it on your house.” She even knew how to do the icing on top.

I didn’t have a chance to really do one when everyone else was, so one night, when all was quiet, and I had time all to myself, I tried to be creative. I have to admit, I had such a good time!
