Sara still loves her binkis. I have to admit, they are a LIFESAVER!

A fun game of jumping down and climbing back up.

One of the street vendors sells GIANT cookies. We got one to share between us, and I think Sara ate the majority of it. But after she had had cookie and doughnuts and a hotdog, here she is asking for more cookies :0

We went to Pike Place this morning. The most Seattle thing anyone could ever do. Walking down that street encompases more of the taste of Seattle than any other one block in the whole city, if you ask me.

We lived with our Cousin’s for about 3 weeks before they moved and Sara fell in love with the oldest’s Barbie car. She would ask for “car” the moment she woke up, or the second moment, the first being “woof woof”, Lucy, the family dog. She was the best dog for kids and such a sweetheart. But we would spend a lot of time in the Barbie car, just sitting. She didn’t want it to move…oh, and the baby dolls would have to sit with her too.

She even started saying “cheese” for these pictures. Not sure where she picked that up, because honestly, I RARELY tell people to say cheese for pictures…it was cute though, must admit…

Leaving Fresno was bitter-sweet. We made great friends and loved the sun. The extreme heat was even great as long as the pool was nearby. We were anxious to get back to Seattle too, and to see family and friends, and all of our stuff. I know Lj is done hearing about this by now, but I was sooo happy to get our clothes out of storage, and to 1) have warmer clothes for the 30 degree temperature change we had arrived at here in Seattle and 2) wear another skirt to church besides the 2 I brought down to CA for the summer.

So, the day we left Fresno, our good friends dropped by and their daughter and Sara played like they had never played before. I’m not sure if they were so giddy because mom and dad were completely occupied in something else and didn’t repremand the ball-in-the-street play (don’t worry grandma’s, it was relatively safe…) or just because they were good friends, but man, they had a great time.
