Today was so busy. I didn’t have time to take many pictures at all.

Sara drinking a bottle like a big girl was about as much as I could get.

So, I’d have to say, I think I cooked all day long.  Starting with…
Breakfast:

German pancakes filled with fresh strawberries, a squeeze from a lemon, topped with syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar (the secret to these is really the blender (http://www.thekysers.com/index.php/2007/05/23/dutch-babies/). I blended them for a good couple of minutes. And the sides really rose so high.

Scrambled eggs with avocado

Hashbrowns

Sausage from Trader Joe’s

Orange juice
Dinner was on the lighter side, and if you like fresh ingredients, and a really fresh meal then this could be a meal you’d like:
Lemon Chicken with Avocado Salsa (June issue of Martha Stewart Magazine pg. 172) It was amazing.

And to top it off with dessert, Raspberry Lime Breeze. (pg. 167) I will link to those last two recipies when they become available on Martha’s website. The smoothie was AMAZING. It was tart and sweet. Really delicious. And the chicken was the perfect top to the day (we had a heavy dinner last night and another heavy meal for breakfast. Something lite was in order). I’m sure you could prepare the salsa the day before (which takes a bit of preparation) leaving the avocado to add in at the last minute, and it would save you a lot of time the day of serving.

Sara was really cute today. You could just tell by her happy attitude all day that she was happy to be together as a family.  She always plays so nicely when we’re all together on Sunday.  She lastest the whole time in nursery at church today!!!  It was great to see how much she enjoyed it.  And when I went in to get her of course she had to walk me around and show me all that she had done in nursery that day.  She also tried a 100 Grand candybar today for the first time (it was a total hit) and the fiz from the top of a rootbear float (what the ward distributed to all of the fathers in the ward).  She didn’t really go for the fiz, but the chocolate was a hit!
